Description

All season PU adhesive foam with very low post-expansion for indoor and outdoor use, from -5°C to +30°C. The first choice for all assembly and bonding work where speed, strength and insulating capacity are important qualities. Good adhesion to most building materials, with excellent thermal and acoustic insulation capacity.

Application

  • Bonding without creating a cold bridge of hard insulation panels, cellular concrete blocks and other construction elements.
  • Mounting of plasterboard panels against walls and frames and of furniture panels and interior elements.
  • Positioning of window sills.
  • Installation of electrical boxes.

Instructions

As from 24 August 2023 adequate training is required before industrial or professional use.

  • Shake aerosol vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
  • Apply adhesive in strips on a clean and stable substrate.
  • Join parts together after two minutes before skin formation.
  • If necessary support parts bonded vertically.

Vaporizing a mist before or after application speeds up the reaction and promotes uniform cell formation.

Remove fresh foam with Foam Cleaner and clean hands with Nova Wipes.

Remove cured foam with XPR-100 PU Foam remover.

Not suitable for load-bearing construction elements.

Does not adhere to PE, PP and other plastics with closed cell structure.

Can be loaded and finished after 60 minutes.

Store the can upright and close with clamp during transport.

  • For gluing insulation panels  / furniture panels / OSB
    • 1 x 750 ml tube of PU 22 = +/- 10m² board or panel.
    • Apply vertical lines of adhesive with a thickness of 30 mm to the panels at 25 cm intervals.
    • When gluing a metal or wooden frame: apply PU 22 directly to the frame instead of the panels.
    • Wait for 2-3 minutes before pressing the panels against the substrate. Hold in place for 1 minute.
    • The panels can be repositioned for approx. 5 minutes longer.
    • Provide adequate support for 10 minutes after affixing the panels.
    • Finish joints and cavities with PU 22.

  • For gluing autoclaved concrete blocks (AAC)
    • Only suitable for constructions that are not load bearing.
    • Lay the first layer perfectly level in a mortar bed.
    • Apply two Ø 30 mm lines of adhesive to the first layer. The second layer can be added directly.
    • Also apply PU 22 to the sides so that the vertical joints are fully glued.
