Description
Novafill Flex is a finish filler, that fulfiIs the function of primer, as well as undercoat, as well as filler. Novafill Flex has an exceptional adhesion on metals, galvanised synthetic materials, wood and lacquered surfaces. Novafill Flex is an ideal precision finish of other fillers. Novafill Flex is shock-, blow- and vibrationproof. Novafill Flex is quickly and perfectly sandable to a supersmooth surface. Novafill Flex is repaintable with all current solvent varnishes, as well as with all waterbased varnishes. Novafill Flex is economical and simple to use. Cleaning the equipment, mixing or weight measurements are not necessary, due to the practical spray can form.
Application
- Fills up pores, scratches and unevennesses
- Applicable in car body works (bodywork, bumpers, spoilers,...) and for general paintwork, metalcoating industry, polyester industry (boats, GRP-plates, ...) and others.
- Wherever a precise smooth finish is necessary for further esthetical varnishing.
- Replaces other undercoats and primers and therefore it is therefore very economical in use.

Novafill Flex

- Composition: acrylic resins.
- Drying time: ca. 20 minutes at 20°C.
- Amount of solid substance: ca. 20%.
- Colour: grey.
- Application temperature: ideal: +15°C up to 25°C; limits: +8°C up to 35°C.
- Durability: excellent resistance to petrols and diesels.
- Viscosity: thixotrope and well stackable.
- Safety: is flammable in liquid form.
- Shelf life: 24 months, keep dry, cool and frost-proof.

Instructions
- After relasing the mixing ball, shake well before use.
- Sand the surface and clean and degrease with Safety Clean and/or Multifoam.
- Apply Novafill Flex in a series of thin layers, allowing a brief drying period between layers.
- Accelerated drying using infrared heat is an option: the minimum lamp distance must be 70 cm.
- Once dry (20 min) sand before applying paint. Sanding may be done dry (500 grit) or wet (800 grit).
- Empty the nozzle spraying with the can upside down.
Which type of Novafill Flex to use?
- As a first layer on metal: Nova Finish Primer, with its corrosion-resistant properties.
- As a first layer on other substrates (e.g. synthetic materials): Novafill Flex or Novafill Flex 2, with their adhesive properties (on difficult plastics first apply Seal&Bond Special Primer).
- Subsequent layers according to the requirement for filling: Novafiller, Novafill Flex or Novafill Flex 2.
- Nova Finish Primer is recommended as a final layer prior to painting because of its fine structure: easier finishing and time savings due to reduced requirement for sanding.
