Description
Nova Zinc has a unique adhesion thanks to the combination of pure zinc powder (99%) and special resins. Applied to iron and aluminum, it forms a hard but flexible zinc layer that offers excellent protection against corrosion through electro-chemical reaction, even when the protective layer is scratched or worn. In the event of damage, Nova Zinc layer will develop insoluble alkaline products (zinc salts). The damage repairs itself and the surface remains protected against corrosion.

- Nova Zinc resisted a salt spray test for 2135h (5DIN 53.167).
- Nova Zinc exceeds the Preece Test (ASTM Des. A 239-41) for hot galvanizing requirements.
- Temperature resistance: up to 490°C.
- Fast drying skin, free of pores.
- Drying time at 20°C:
- Dust dry after 5-7 minutes;
- Treatable, waterproof and ready for 2nd coat: after 15 to 30 minutes;
- Repaintable: after 24 hours (most paints).
- Curing time: 14 days.
- Accelerated drying after 10-15 minutes; evaporation: 15 minutes at 180°C or 20 minutes at 140°C; repaintable after 15-30 minutes at room temperature.
- 1 can covers 4m².
- TüV approved: EB 1397635.
- Shelf life: 24 months, keep dry, cool and frost-proof.

Instructions
- Apply on a dry and clean surface. If necessary, first clean and degrease with Safety Clean and / or Multifoam.
- Sand and dust the surface.
- Shake the can well after releasing the mixing ball.
- Apply in thin layers from +/- 25 cm.
- Empty the nozzle spraying with the can upside down.
