Description
MGM-170 MGM Primer is a fast adhesion promoter for adhesives and coatings on all inorganic substrates, such as metals, glass and other mineral substrates. It is used in combination with epoxy, MS polymers and silicones. MGM-170 MGM Primer is ideal for pre-treating hard-to-adhere ceramic materials, polymer concrete or old epoxy layers, in combination with Poxycon.
Application
- Improves adhesion to old epoxy layers, contaminated polymer concrete and glazed ceramic floors.
- Primer for bonding or coating on all inorganic (mineral) substrates: glass, metals, natural stone, granite, limestone, ceramic materials, concrete and cement-based substrates.

ADHESIVE PRIMER
- Basis: siloxane in water-borne solution.
- Colour: light yellow – transparent.
- Density: 1.0-1.1.
- pH: 11.
- Drying time: 20 to 60 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
- Shelf life: 12 months, in a dry, cool and frost-free place.
- Safety measures: please refer to the safety data sheet.
Instructions
- Apply to a clean and stable substrate. Clean, if necessary, with Safety Clean and/or Multifoam. Clean old epoxy layers first with Megaclean.
- Apply MGM-170 MGM Primer a brush, roller or nebuliser.
- Apply adhesive or coating when the surface is dry to the touch.
Consumption: 12 to 20 m² per liter.
