Description
IPR-570 Impact Protect is a versatile impact resistant coating. It effectively dampens sound and vibrations, adheres durably to various materials and can be painted over with almost all paint systems. The coating offers strong chemical resistance and retains its properties over a wide temperature range, ensuring a long service life. Free from bitumen and silicone.
Application
- Chassis, wheel arches, floor pans: durable barrier against corrosion and stone chips.
- Boats and marine applications: protects against corrosion from seawater and moisture
- Agricultural and construction machinery: increases the resistance of machinery to mud, moisture and mechanical impact.
- Protection of metal structures: steel and aluminium beams, pipelines and tanks
- Machine parts: protection against moisture and chemicals.

- Composition: rubber / synthetic resin.
- Colour: black.
- Consistency: spray paint.
- Density: +/- 0.8 g/ml.
- Application temperature: +15°C to +25°C.
- Temperature resistance: -40°C to +90°C.
- Skin formation: 25 minutes.
- Time between coats: 5–10 minutes.
- Complete drying: 90 minutes.
- Resistance: water, seawater, oil, weak acids and bases.
- Shelf life: 36 months, stored in a dry place between +10°C and +30°C.
Instructions
- Test adhesion on plastics, powder coatings, exotic woods and bituminous materials.
- Ensure that the surface is clean and dry. Clean with a safety clean and/or Multifoam. Lightly sand smooth surfaces.
- Shake the aerosol can for 1 minute after releasing the mixing ball.
- Spray a thin base coat from a distance of 25–40 cm. Build up layer by layer to a thickness of 0.2–1 mm, depending on the substrate and application. It is best to work in thin layers and wait for the previous layer to dry.
- After use: hold the aerosol can upside down and spray briefly to clean the spray head.
- Can be painted after 90 minutes with most paint systems. Can also be used as a top coat without further finishing.
- Clean any splashes immediately with Safety Clean. After curing, the coating can only be removed mechanically.
