Description

  • Excellent diluent for epoxys, for a better impregnation in porous materials.
  • Excellent etching agent before glueing, for lacquers and reparations on old epoxy coatings, industrial coatings and synthetic materials.

  • Ideal to use for the finishing of epoxys and to clean tools.
  • Fluid abrasive for hardened epoxys and hard plastics.
  • Removes hardened polyurethane.

  • Vapour pressure at 20°C (hPa): 105.
  • Boiling point: 80°C.
  • Solidification point: -86°C.
  • Flash point: -4°C.
  • Soluble in: water, alcohol, ether.
  • Density at 20°C: 0,804 - 0,808 kg/l (ASTMD 4052).
  • Shelf life: 36 months, keep dry, cool and frostproof.

Instructions

Thinner: add a maximum of 4% Megaclean to the Novatio epoxy resins if thinner is desired.

Etchant: Apply Megaclean on a dry cloth and rub on the surface.

First test the substrate for durability and color fastness.

Safe to use on carbon steel, stainless steel, polyester, aluminum and Teflon.
