Description
- Strong cleaner and solvent, ideal for cleaning tools after working with epoxy resin.
- Excellent diluent for epoxys, for a better impregnation in porous materials.
- Excellent etching agent before glueing, for lacquers and reparations on old epoxy coatings, industrial coatings and synthetic materials.
Application
- Ideal to use for the finishing of epoxys and to clean tools.
- Fluid abrasive for hardened epoxys and hard plastics.
- Removes hardened polyurethane.

CLEANING, DELUTING AND ETCHING OF EPOXY RESIN
- Ccomposition: butanone.
- Colour: colourless.
- Odour: charcateristic.
- Vapour pressure at 20°C (hPa): 105.
- Boiling point: 80°C.
- Solidification point: -86°C.
- Flash point: -4°C.
- Soluble in: water, alcohol, ether.
- Density at 20°C: 0,804 - 0,808 kg/l (ASTMD 4052).
- Shelf life: 36 months, keep dry, cool and frostproof.

Instructions
Thinner: add a maximum of 4% Megaclean to the Novatio epoxy resins if thinner is desired.
Etchant: Apply Megaclean on a dry cloth and rub on the surface.
First test the substrate for durability and color fastness.
Safe to use on carbon steel, stainless steel, polyester, aluminum and Teflon.
