Description
Seal & Bond Flex-Sil is a sealant based on acetate-free silicone, with excellent adhesion on most materials. Seal & Bond Flex-Sil is very elastic and has an excellent chemical and temperature resistance. The Seal & Bond Flex-Sil presspack makes the use of a gun superfluous.
Application
- Sealing of machine parts.
- Insulation and moisture proofing of electrical contacts on electric motors.
- Sealing seams between sheet material.
- Prevents galvanic effect.
- Bonding of light objects on non-porous surfaces.
- Adheres to: steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper, brass, bronze, paintwork, glass, ceramics and various types of plastic.

THE LIQUID GASKET
- Base: MEKO free silicone.
- Colour: black or red.
- Density (DIN EN ISO 2811-1): 1,11 - 1,28 g/ml.
- Skin-formation: approx. 8 min.
- Curing time: +/- 3 mm/h.
- Hardness (DIN 53505): 38 ± 6 Shore A.
- Volume shrinkage (31 DIN EN ISO 10563): ≤ 4%.
- Processing temperature: +5°C to +35°C.
- Chemical resistance: oils, greases, lubricants, diesel, gasoline, ad blue, IPA, transmission and brake fluids, antifreeze, water, steam, fuel oil, alkali, acetone, saline solutions, light acids (up to 20%), ... .
- Temperature resistance: -40°C to +250°C, shortly up to +300°C.
- Shelf life: 18 months, cool, dry and dark at +5°C to +25°C in unopened original packaging.
Instructions
- Apply to clean and dry surfaces.
- Do not expose to high temperatures until fully cured.
