Description
A 2-component acrylate hybrid glue for bonding, sealing and fillingl low energy materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Megaplast PPE can be used in the automotive, industrial and electronics sectors. Even in the optical world to glue glass or to mount or fix construction components. Megaplast PPE is shock-resistant and has very good adhesion to difficult to glue plastics. Megaplast PPE can bind different plastics together, whether combined with different metals, glass, ceramics, ... .
Application
- Gluing or sealing materials and plastics with an extremely low surface tension such as PP, PE, ... .
- Gluing PP and PE with ABS, PVC, HPL, melamine, wood, glass stone, polyester, hard and flexible plastics, filled with fibre or not.

- Mix ratio: 1/10.
- Open working time: 5 minutes at 20°C.
- Grip resistant: 2 hours at 20°C.
- Fully hardened: 8 hours at 20°C.
- Shore D: 50.
- Tensile strength: 13 N/mm².
- PE tensile strength: 6.0 N/mm².
- PP tensile strength: 7.0 N/mm².
- Elasticity: 5%.
- Temperature for use: 20-25°C.
- Temperature resistance: +120°C.
- Chemical resistance: very good, oil, diesel, benzene, ...
- Can be painted on: yes.
- Shelf life: 12 months between +0°C and +15°C, 6 months between +15°C and +23°C.

Instructions
Substrate preparation
- Clean with Safety Clean and/or Multifoam.
- Sand the material.
- Remove all dust.
- Degrease with Safety Clean and Multifoam.
- Blow dry.
Cartridge preparation
- Remove the cap from the cartridge.
- Place the cartridge in the gun.
- Pump until both components flow out of the cartridge.
- Place the mixer tip on the cartridge and, if necessary, cut off the nozzle to enlarge the opening.
- First spout out 2 cm of product.
- Apply on a clean and dry substrate.
- Place a new mixer tip after a 5-minute break.
Storage
- Remove mixer tip.
- Clean duo cartridge.
- Put cap back in place.
